Bill Thomas Motors built the Cheetah to be Chevrolet’s answer to the Shelby Cobra. In the early ‘60s, the indy tracks were being dominated by the Cobra 289 and the Ferrari 250 GTO. With Corvette suspension and full support from Chevrolet, the Cheetah hit the race tracks in 1963. Boasting a 520 hp Chevy small-block V-8, the Cheetah had incredible lateral acceleration and could run a quarter mile in 10 seconds.

This classic 1960 Chevrolet Impala was purchased for export to Brazil. We hope the collector enjoys the surprise the previous owner left for them: half a dozen advertisements from 1959 & 1960 magazines about this car, extra textile for the interior, and a copy of the original bill of sale for only $3600. Very cool.
