Dear Customers and Friends,

First and foremost, I hope this newsletter reaches you and your family in good health. While the last month has certainly posed operational challenges, we are so grateful to our employees and customers for adapting to this new normal.

Because WTDC receives regular imports from China, we saw the early effects of the coronavirus on the logistics industry. We had a plan in place for  the health of our employees and the continuity of business before a stay-at-home order was issued by Miami-Dade County which allowed WTDC to continue to operate as an essential business.

WTDC prepared for any eventuality because things were so uncertain at that time. We purchased masks and gloves for our employees, bought tablets for staff and forwarded their phone lines, installed antivirus and firewalls on the tablets to protect our network, bought hospital grade disinfectant for daily sanitization of our building, and practiced social distancing while at the office. We continue to operate with some employees on-site to handle operations but the majority of our staff are working from home.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected directly and indirectly by the coronavirus pandemic and shutdown.

Please feel fee to contact me if I can be of service, or even just to chat.

Sincerely,

Sean P. Gazitua

WTDC President & CEO
