The Foreign Trade Zone Advantage
December 2015 marks the completion of WTDC’s third year as a Foreign Trade Zone Operator. As the first active Operator in PortMiami’s FTZ 281 in 2012, WTDC has been at the forefront of offering FTZ warehousing and consulting services in line with the FTZ Board’s new ASF guidelines. We have consulted for 15 companies to attain their own FTZ status, 2 of whom will be newly approved Operators in first quarter 2016, and we are currently working with a 16th company.
WTDC’s unique stance as both Operator and Consultant allows us to deliver a turnkey solution including application, implementation, compliance, software assistance, and personnel training.

Miami Art Week Guide
Each year in early December the arts world congregates in Miami for Art Basel and other arts and cultural events. We encourage you to get out and see the thousands of works on display throughout Miami this week. The Chile-US Chamber of Commerce will be attending Art Miami tonight and Breakfast in the Park on Sunday, part of the arts programming led by CUCC Chair for Arts & Culture Cookie Gazitua. Welcoming FIU Intern Sofia Garcia
WTDC is pleased to welcome Ms. Sofia Garcia, FIU ’17, to our Internship Program. Ms. Garcia is a double major in International Business & Marketing in the FIU School of Business. She is Marketing Director for few Honors Investment Portfolio (HIP) and is Marketing & PR Director for their International Business Honors Society (IBHS). At WTDC, Ms. Garcia is working with the Sales and Marketing Department on Duty Free and Travel Retail marketing for the Spirits Industry.
