On May 27, WTDC President & CEO Sean P. Gazitua and Sales & Marketing Manager Sean Powers, President and Vice President of FIU SigEp Alumni Volunteer Corporation, respectively, teamed up with Doral Tropical Smoothie Cafe to donate smoothies to the Hialeah Police Department during their 10 pm roll call.
The gesture was to thank the officers for protecting the community during the COVID-19 pandemic and is part of a series of donations to local hospitals, firefighters, and law enforcement by the alumni organization and restaurant.
