Masks for event attended by US Surgeon General stored at WTDC On July 23, US Surgeon General Jerome Adams visited Sergio’s Restaurant in Doral, FL, to announce the kick-off of a mask distribution initiative for hospitality and restaurant workers of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. These masks were donated by the federal government and WTDC is proudly donating warehousing services for this initiative spearheaded by Sergio’s Restaurants CEO Carlos Gazitua in cooperation with state and local governments, Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, and the US Health and Human Services Department. As of Friday’s 2 p.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center, the storm center is tracking east of Florida and does not pose an immediate danger to South Florida. A Hurricane Warning has not been issued for Miami-Dade County. We are taking the necessary steps to prepare our facility and data for any change of course.
