Deck the Halls for His House Children’s Home
On Saturday, December 6, WTDC employees, families, and friends volunteered at Deck the Halls for His House Children’s Home. This annual event brings the community together to decorate the group homes for the children at His House.
We brought the joy and spirit of Christmas into the home by trimming the tree, stringing up the lights, decorating each of the bedrooms, and baking fresh cookies for the children. This was our second year decorating the same home. Thank you WTDC General Manager Ginger Diez for organizing our year-round participation with His House Children’s Home!
President’s Corner
As we reflect on 2025, I’m filled with gratitude for the progress WTDC has made and the people who make our mission possible. This year reminded us just how meaningful our company four pillars—God and Family, Health and Education, Community, and WTDC—are in shaping the work we do and the relationships we build.
Our commitment to community service also remained a central part of our identity. Through charitable initiatives, volunteer efforts, and support for local organizations, we continued to give back to the community that has supported our family-owned business for nearly half a century.
One of the standout achievements of the year was WTDC’s nomination for the DFNI Awards, a recognition that speaks to the dedication of our team and the trust placed in us by our customers and partners. It reflects our continued commitment to bettering our community.
Our presence in the Duty Free & Travel Retail industry was stronger than ever in 2025 while we continue to develop markets for our transportation department. WTDC proudly attended key industry gatherings including the IAADFS Summit of the Americas, WCA World Regional Conference, and TFWA World Exhibition and Conference. These events and our features in the event publications provided invaluable opportunities to connect with partners, and position WTDC at the forefront of the duty-free and travel retail logistics sector.
Operationally, WTDC experienced significant growth. We successfully onboarded new accounts, expanded our FTZ consulting and transportation clientele, and strengthened long-standing customer relationships. These accomplishments underscore our reputation for dependable, customer-focused service.
As we look ahead to 2026, our vision remains clear: continue delivering exceptional service, deepen our industry relationships, and carry forward the values that define us. The future is bright, and WTDC is ready to meet it with purpose and innovation.
Best Regards,
Sean Gazitua, President & CEO

WTDC featured in FIU article on tariffs
In a recent article in the Fall 2025 edition of FIU Business Now, the quarterly FIU College of Business magazine, WTDC President & CEO Sean Gazitua provided his outlook on companies working within the new tariff structure:
Companies are using this period of volatility to build stronger partnerships, with some businesses spreading tariff costs between manufacturers, importers and distributors as a short-term solution. “Entrepreneurs see difficult times as opportunities,” Gazitua said. “You can’t fold. You have to work with your partners to figure these things out, and this is why it’s important to have strong relationships.”
