WTDC donates 2905 gallons of water to His House Children’s Home

WTDC is proud to support our community in preparation for hurricane season. Last week we delivered 2905 gallons of bottled water to His House Children’s Home as part of our 4th Annual Water Drive.

WTDC supports His House’s mission to provide every child with a safe, loving, and nurturing home. His House’s 232 bed campus in Miami Gardens provides residential care and support services for abused, abandoned, and neglected children. His House also trains and works closely with foster families, providing another avenue for children to find a safe home.

A special thank you to Ginger Diez, WTDC General Manager, for leading this incredible effort, and to our employees, families, customers, and vendors whose generosity made it possible. Together, we’re making a difference!

CBP touts impact of CTPAT small business partners
On June 9, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) highlighted the advantages of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program for small businesses, which make up more than 70% of its membership. As customs enforcement continues to strengthen under President Trump’s Executive Order on customs compliance issued on June 9, 2026, CTPAT provides participating companies with a trusted framework that enhances supply chain security while improving operational efficiency.

WTDC is proud to be CTPAT certified. We welcome customers to link with us in the portal.

CTPAT members benefit from reduced inspection rates, expedited border processing, and access to programs that help minimize supply chain disruptions. Additional advantages include business continuity planning resources, enhanced credibility with customers and partners, and access to a dedicated member portal. CBP encourages eligible businesses to join CTPAT to improve security, reduce costs, and strengthen their competitiveness in global trade.

The White House: STRENGTHENING CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT

CPSC eFiling requirement
Importers of consumer products should prepare for a significant regulatory change coming this summer. Beginning July 8, 2026, new U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) eFiling requirements for certificate information on regulated imported consumer products will officially take effect for most imports entering the United States.

While the July 8, 2026 deadline applies to most imported consumer products, the CPSC has provided additional time for products imported into a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and subsequently entered for consumption or warehousing. Requirements affecting those products will become effective on January 8, 2027.
The implementation date stems from a Final Rule approved by the Commission on December 18, 2024, establishing mandatory electronic filing (eFiling) of certificate data for regulated imported consumer products.
The Final Rule is designed to modernize import compliance processes by requiring certificate information to be submitted electronically, enhancing the agency’s ability to identify and prevent non-compliant consumer products from entering U.S. commerce.
The eFiling initiative represents a major step in the CPSC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen import surveillance, improve supply chain transparency, and enhance consumer product safety.
