Air Cargo Americas
WTDC attended 2023 Air Cargo Americas tradeshow hosted by World Trade Center Miami last week. This annual event is a great way for our logistics industry to discuss the latest trends in supply chain and air cargo.
Pictured are WTDC with our friends at Magaya Corporation, GLT Logistics, and FIU College of Engineering and Computing, which houses the logistics program.

Magaya Dimensioner at WTDC
WTDC is committed to improving our processes through technology. Recently we implemented the Magaya Dimensioner in our warehouse. Like a parcel dimensioner but larger in scale, it weighs, measures, and takes photos of cargo. This data is seamlessly integrated into our WMS, thereby improving accuracy and productivity.

WTDC at the MIA Runway 5K
On Saturday, October 21st, WTDC Sales and Marketing Manager Sean Powers and Office Manager Daniel Fajardo ran the MIA Runway 5K! Veterans Stand Down
On November 2nd, Deacon Ralph L. Gazitua led the opening invocation for Veterans Stand Down at the County Fairgrounds.
This Miami-Dade County event was part of a nationwide program to support at-risk Veterans. Veterans could receive food, clothing, career and legal assistance at the event as well referrals to other essential services. God Bless our Veterans!

Thanksgiving Food Drive
We are now accepting food and monetary donations for WTDC’s 5th annual Thanksgiving Drive benefiting Lotus House Women’s Shelter. Lotus House is the largest Women’s shelter in the country, dedicated to improving the lives of women, youth and children experiencing homelessness through sanctuary, support, education, and other resources. Please help us in supporting this cause!
Spirituality in the Workplace
On Saturday, November 4th, WTDC visited the Shiva Vishnu Temple of South Florida as part of our Spirituality in the Workplace Initiative. After a private tour of the Hindu temple including a special puja (prayer) for WTDC, we sat together for prasad mandir – a lunch open to anyone in the community.
Thank you to our host MC and our colleague Dr. Erik Larson, Chair & Associate Professor of Florida International University’s (FIU) Religious Studies Program, for coordinating our visit. WTDC has an alliance with FIU Religious studies for this initiative.
Each quarter, WTDC staff visits a place of worship not to convert or espouse any one faith or doctrine but to educate and inspire WTDC employees to better themselves through faith of any kind whether it be Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, or other. For each place of worship WTDC visits, we donate $1000 for their hospitality.
Places of worship visited by WTDC Spirituality in the Workplace:
• Apostolic Worship Word Center (Evangelical Christian)
• Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (Roman Catholic)
• Shiva Vishnu Temple of South Florida (Hindu)
• St. Dominic Catholic Church (Roman Catholic)
• St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church
• Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church
• Vous Church (Non-denominational Christian)
In 2024, WTDC plans to visit a mosque and a synagogue to broaden our understanding of their culture and traditions.
