The United States to raise the flag in Cuba

Secretary of State John Kerry will raise the American Flag in Havana, Cuba, on August 14th in a symbolic gesture of the recent renewal of formal diplomatic relations between the countries.

Hillary Clinton calls for lifting of Cuba embargo while in Miami

On Friday, July 31st, Hillary Clinton spoke at Florida International University in Miami, FL. She announced her support for President Obama’s Cuba policy as well as call for the end of the U.S. trade embargo.  Clinton contends that the embargo has not achieved the expected goals and is hindering the U.S. agenda for Latin America.
