On November 29, Ralph L. Gazitua, WTDC President and CEO, attended the Miami Dade College Alumni Hall of Fame Inductee Breakfast to honor and congratulate Dr. Eduardo Padrón, President of Miami Dade College, for receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Ralph L. Gazitua is Chair, and Fernando Santa Cruz, President of Freight Solutions, is a Board Member for the Supply Chain Management Advisory Committee for Miami Dade College.

US-Cuba relations update:
American Airlines reduces the number of flights to Cuba
Bloomberg reports that American Airlines has announced that it will reduce its number of daily round trip flights from 13 to 10 next February citing weak demand. Uncertainty of the policies of President-elect Trump for U.S.-Cuba relations could further hamper operations.
Olga Ramudo, Owner of Coral Gables-based Express Travel, commented in the article that she expects other airlines to reduce their number of flights due to Cuba’s lack of hotel and transportation infrastructure.
