Quota Inventory Management
WTDC’s clients preposition quota-regulated inventory in the Foreign Trade Zone prior to clearing customs. We understand the needs of quota customers and know that you need to be the first to file entry (FCFS – First Come, First Served). When CBP releases quota numbers on commodities such as Canned Tuna or Raw Sugar, our clients enter the market faster because the inventory is already warehoused within the United States and not the country of origin.
Sugar Quota – WTDC has experience with documentation, unloading, warehousing, and transporting Supersacks of quota raw sugar. Often this sugar will travel 100 miles North of WTDC on US-27 to the sugar processing plants in the area. Contact us to manage your sugar quota inventory.
Three types of import quotas administered by CBP: absolute quotas, tariff-rate quotas (TRQs), and tariff preference levels (TPLs). For additional information on Quota management, visit the CBP FAQ Page for Quotas
