The US announces plans to open Embassy in Cuba
On Wednesday, July 1, President Obama announced plans to formally re-establish diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba including the opening of embassies in the respective capitals of each country.

WTDC attends WCA Conference
WTDC Vice President Sean P. Gazitua attended the WCA Network’s Sino-Americas Regional Conference in Miami, June 20th-23rd. Mr. Gazitua met with our agent partners from Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Italy, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Spain, and Vietnam, among others.

FCBF signs Internship MOU with Miami Dade College
Miami Dade College’s Supply Chain Management students now have the opportunity to further develop their experience in logistics through a newly introduced Internship program with the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association (FBCF).

At its General Membership Meeting on June 24, FCBF signed a Memo of Understanding (MOU) with MDC. The MOU outlines FCBF’s role as an Internship hub and conduit for MDC Supply Chain Management student Internships. FCBF is concurrently training its members on how to establish Internships and what can be expected of the incoming MDC students.
